No problem with GA photos! Afterall, its what those pilots who now fly those jumbos you guys love photographing first started off on, so they have their place in aviation too.

Fantastic shots! Its great to see a shot of G-MYGD, I photographed her at Truro in 2003 and havent seen anything of her since. I am also glad to see a photo of G-RUVY, I photographed her during my days flying training at Perranporth in around 2005! Great to see those two still flying around.

Nice, but I prefer Alitalia’s normal livery 😎

The woman’s an idiot, she’ll probably try to sue everyone if an earthquake occured without warning, eventhough you cant predict them neither.

Sometimes people just need to sit and think before they speak.

Good luck for the first solo. I did mine on May 9th 2004 after just 9hrs 45mins flying training.

I remember it like it was yesterday. A nice circuit I did. While holding short of the runway prior to take off the 771 sqdrn sea king landed in front of me. Awesome sight. The circuit I flew was really nice too with a nice landing to round it off. Couldnt of been more happier. 😎

Just keep well composed and cool, you’ll be fine.

    I found this topic..

    http://www.pprune.org/engineers-technicians/371417-iae-v25-engine.html

It has responses from aircraft engineers/pilots who work with these engines and are qualified to answer specific questions. Not sure if the topic answers the specific thrust question but gives a good comparison between the two different types.

Mind you, its worth remembering, theres a lot of factors that go into take off, some of which have already been discussed here. Are you just interested in the figures, or as suggested, interested in how it ‘feels’ when rolling?

Great stuff, addmittedly most of my stuff was AI traffic related but I did also do a few repaints for flyable types too.
