The answer probably wont be found in just the video, as stated, the landing looks normal.
I made a normal landing once, then the brakes didnt work. 😀
For about 6 or 7yrs I developed well over 100 repaints which I uploaded to avsim. A shame to see this happen. I suppose with the worlds population so large, its inevitable theres always going to be scum like this living amongst us unfortunately.
Personally I can’t see the enjoyment of bringing down a flight simulation website – its a games site and the hackers really havent done anything clever by taking out a games website. Pathetic really.
How many angles of footage is there? Its just the one I watched the camera zoomed out after the main gear touched down making it difficult to make any judgement as to what happened. Mind you, i’m not looking to throw guesses at the situation, as theres too many possible outcomes and only the NTSB will be the ones who give the definitive answer.
I really like the different tones of light on the cat. Good shot.

Nice diverse set.
I like the reg on shot 7! 😀 😎
Nice stuff mate. I really like the DHL A300 close up.
I know about flying, but i’m not sure that marrying two people together would be regarded as a proper reason for an airline pilot to leave the cockpit. Obviously they can leave the flightdeck for certain reasons (going to the toilet etc) but I dont think marrying people would be one of them.
I’ll have a look in my ATPL Air Law training manual and see if it states any rules or regs regarding to the operation of a commercial flight and circumstances of pilots leaving the cockpit. If not I’ll ask one of the flying instructors at my flying club as he flies airliners too.
Great find! Always great to see classical stuff.
I hope there will be DC10 operations from the UK, however, on that site they planned to be flying by April 29th.. but are they?
Good selection. Lots of BizJets. 😎
Dan,
Good luck with your qualifying cross country! I still remember mine from 2yrs ago. It was during some pretty horrible weather. I nearly diverted at one point but I must addmit i’m glad I didnt in the end as all went well. Once you’ve got more confidence i’d recommend you take a trip down to Cornwall as they have some really nice scenery – be aware though, the weather can be pretty bad down there and sometimes the forcast winds are not necessarily the same as what you come accross.
I agree with your comment regarding GA airfields. They each have their own individuality and you also never know what will turn up!
Longshot,
Thanks very much for the kind comments. I think I do have a relatively poor photo of RAF St Mawgan, but i’ll have to have a look through my CD’s to find it. I’ll have a look tonight though. Sadly though, Predannack is the one I didnt get! Now I fly from Cranfield so its not so easy to photograph the cornish airfields. I will again eventually though!
Nice stuff there.
