Yeah the loss of British International was a real shame. My mate was a pilot for them, but was really lucky to get an air ambulance job pretty much straight after British International closed down.

The trouble is that night time freight flights bring in all kinds of things to the UK. Anything from An12’s and ATP’s to Swearingen Metro’s and Shorts 360’s. Even smaller types like Beech C90’s do cargo runs at night.

Found out about this a few days ago 🙂 Good news to see them adding to the fleet 🙂 Shared the sky with them many times when I was flying in Cornwall. Can remember coming behind one of their Islanders when on my qualifying cross country in 2007.
I wonder if they are planning additional routes with this new Twin otter.
