Charlie, it’s amusing to me because as I said plenty of people claim for this sort of thing. The only thing that makes a difference here is that she is an officer. Indeed she serves the public and paid for by the public but as officers also pay tax you can safely say they also pay for themselves.
As I said, I don’t agree with what she’s done, I certainly wouldn’t do it myself, but I do think that all the attention is just a little over the top. If she was an ordinary member of the public this would go ignored by the media and people in general, but the injustice of it all would still be the same effectively.

I don’t agree with what the Constable has done. If it was me I would have just got up and carried on. As I said before, not all officers are like her.
However, what amuses me is if it was just an ordinary member of the public this wouldn’t even make the news and wouldn’t even be discussed on here. People make claims for stuff like this regularly, it’s the ‘in’ thing nowadays.

Yeah they were short lived which was a real shame, but thankfully I got to see them nearly every day when I lived near LHR 🙂
Hopefully their low fares will do them well!

Takes me back to the 90’s when we used to get an A320 and A321 in virgin livery (and sometimes virgin sun) at Heathrow.
