RE: Blugh!!!!
BIKX was delivered in ’86
RE: Check your boarding card
yeah, presumably this one…
Flight Number: AC860
Operated By: Air Canada
From: YHZ – Halifax (NS)
To: LHR – London Heathrow (GB)
Stops: 1
it’s a 767-300, with an enroute stop at St. John’s, NF
RE: Check your boarding card
I think the point is, St. John was an en-route stop, and she slept through the stop…
RE: My thoughts on security
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-12-02 AT 00:38 AM (GMT)]aye, but, T5, the reinforced cockpit doors aren’t nescearily just to protect the flight crew… imagine there’s would be hijackers who want to mount more suicide attacks… this way, at least the plane can land without causing damage, as the hijackers can’t take control of the flightdeck.
do you think pilots would really relish not being able to help if there was fighting in the cabin?
RE: Thrust reversers
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-12-02 AT 11:39 PM (GMT)]apparently all three major trijet widebodies have thrust reversers on their central engines
(nb the MD-11’s are the same as the DC-10’s, but I couldn’t find a photo with a closer look, so I didn’t bother)

RE: First Thomas Cook 757
well, personally, I prefer B Cal’s scheme… but, given the choice, TC is definately better than that jmc scheme.
RE: New BBC series on Scottish Aviators
anyone with Sky Digital gets the regional BBC2 Networks (except Scottish football, coz they ain’t got a licence for networkwide transmission, but that’s a btw)
