RE: Strange
easyjet are buying go, not ryanair…
and go don’t have any -200’s…
But even Ryanair are currently replacing the -300’s with -700’s
RE: Near Miss!
ok, if London wants to be the exception that proves the rule… anyway, if it was checking traffic, it wouldn’t circle for 2 1/2 hours, and anyway, it wouldn’t be up that early… not till the rush hour started, anyway… But, as you say, this was over the weekend…
RE: Strange
if they go for airbus, it’ll be a mix of A320 family a/c, I would have thought…
RE: Danger in the sky
wasn’t too interesting… seemed a bit sensationalist, and I certainly didn’t learn anything new… :S

RE: Near Miss!
eyes in the sky are almost always helicopters, though…
anyway, if it was checking traffic, it wouldn’t be circling around one area for that long…
RE: new Forum
I’m on a php board elsewhere, and it does work great, but it too had a few teething problems, but it’s a much better interace once you’re used to it…
With plenty of additional optional features.
But this place is ok if everyone’s happy with it…
RE: Security at MAN?
When you’re flying from Copenhagen, it’s deemed a ‘domestic’ flight… ie, within the EU.
Whereas, coming from Oslo, you’re entering the EU at MAN, so you need to clear EU customs first.
RE: Design your own aircraft/airline…Part 2.
you misspelt it… It’s Ing-ur-lund…
RE: Where to find accident reports?
The Spanish Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil does have a site… but it’s all in Spanish.
RE: Where to find accident reports?
yeah accident/incident reports to UK registered/operated a/c and those occuring within UK Airspace are avaliable on the AAIB website.
The NTSB have a similar list of incidents on theirs, and give links to reports where avaliable (not all countries make them public, although most have a brief synopsis, anyway) http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/query.asp
RE: The Blair Dossier

RE: Open Skies Agreement
well, I’ve never flown on an airline that gave out anything but minatures, so I can’t comment on Lufty.
With regards headsets, fair dos to United, then. (Do you think they’ll refund me for the $5 I gave them for a headset five years ago, though?… Spot the stereotypical Scot ;))
RE: 747 at newcastle airport
Aye, it’ll have been bringing the fans for the Champions League game at St. James’ Park on Tuesday night, aganst Feyenoord (of Rotterdam).
Either that, or it was to bring all the CL banners/adverts that go all round the ground.
