Our message to Easyjet is simple – You can’t match Ryanair’s low fares and you can’t match Ryanair’s punctuality and customer service either.

No, but then, neither could British Rail, and by hell did they try to set a precedent in the 70’s and 80’s…

Easyjet may fly to centrally located airports and it may take longer to get from a Ryanair airport to the city but yu still arrive before Easy passengers because they are so unpunctual.

aye, after all, with 6 more flights out of a hundred arriving later than with FR, it makes ALL the difference…

I don’t think that many of us are that familiar with Thomsonfly…

Sure, we’ve all heard of them, but actually seeing them…

except that if you’re on a 3 day city break, you don’t want to spend 1 of the 3 travelling to/from the Airport… :diablo:

yeah, but how long has easyJet had the route on sale, and how long has Ryanair had it avaliable? obviously FR’ll be cheaper if their route was only announced yesterday, and most people wanting to go from London to Knock at the time have already booked…

One other point about BNWH, just to totally clarify the situation…

Normally, when an aircraft is wetleased, it may retain the Lessor’s livery, but will have some kind of sticker pointing to the airline it is operating for… Unless I’m very much mistaken, in G-BNWH’s case, this should read…

operated for BA by BA on behalf of BACX

This must surely be a unique situation, where a lessor leases an aircraft to a wholly owned subsiduary so the subsiduary can operate a route on behalf of the Lessor?

Either that, or I’ve been watching too much Yes, Prime Minister… 😉 :diablo:
