After Pushing back, we got a look at Monarch A300-600 G-MONR, this time in the new colours. (I know, I need to hold the camera straight :()

Also taxi-ing out were Air France A320 F-GLGH, and the EI 320, EI-CVA.

And so, back at the same Gate, where there was a view of Monarch A300-600 (old colours) G-MAJS, along with a Sun D’or 757). All to soon it was time to board easyJet Switzerland A319 HB-JZJ, where this time I got seat 22A.

And so it was time to head back to El Prat for the 12:05pm flight back to Geneva.

Here are some of the aircraft on Stand that I passed while making my way to the Duty Free…

    Aer Lingus A320 EI-CVA
Air France A320 F-GJVW (having some engine trouble?)

I think I might just follow the instructions on the Scoreboard at the end of the game 😀 I was milking it by then, anyway.

The Next Morning, and Columbus was pointing the way forward.

There’s only one Johnnie Hartson, there’s only one Johnnie hartson, he’s got no hair, but we don’t care, walking in a Hartson wonderland (repeat ad infinitum)

now, obviously, it wouldn’t be a trip with 9’999 fellow Scots if there weren’t a couple of Pints involved, even if they looked like they were coming from oversized Brandy Glasses.

Anyway, several hours (and Brandy glasses) later it was time to head to El Camp Nou.

I was moved on by the Police after taking these pics, to try and actually find a seat, rather than just standing in the Aisle, and I did find a seat, at the far end of the away support section.

Now, I’m not convinced this wasn’t just a mirage, as when I looked again after disembarkation, it wasn’t there any more, but this pic kind of proves it was there… Ryanair 737-800 EI-DAT. Must have got lost on the way to Girona or something. No doubt Michael O’Leary would be tearing his hair out if he knew he was taking his mugs, er, I mean, customers, somewhere mainstream that they actually wanted to go. Also Parked up behind it was a MyTravel 757 in new coulors, and, closer to our gate, Gemini MD-11F N782GC, with, behind it, Excel 737 G-XLAD.

We taxi-ied in to the terminal in a strange way, avoiding the Building work detailed in the feature on Barcelona in last month’s Airliner World, in fact, the Captain came on to say it’d take about 15 minutes before we reached our gate, although we could clearly the see the Terminal not too far away. We crossed the threshold of Runway 02, before doubling back along it, crossing it again about halfway along, before crossing the threshold of 20 at the other end. In front of us was Monarch 757 G-MONC. Having passed 20, Iberia 320 EC-HUL taxi-ied past us for it’s deaprture from the same 20.

61 minutes after taking off, we landed at El Prat, but not before savouring a cup of Tea for Breakfast from the excellent easyKiosk service. The Med is always a welcome sight on descent, as the Weather is invariably better than in overcast old Switzerland.

As we took off, we were afforded some nice views of the Alps.

Over by the Main Terminal, there were a couple of LX 32S’s, and a KLM 737, while at the other Satellite Terminal, SAS Commuter Dash8 OY-XCG was parked. As we taxi-ied out, we passed Austrian Arrows CRJ OE-LRH, and, by the cargo terminal, DHL 757 (I think) G-BIKX. By the Jet Aviation Hangar there was what can only be described [sarcastically, mind] as one of the smaller bizjets around, 777 VP-BRH, belonging apparantly, to Saudi Oger, and used by the Lebanese Prime Minister.

Actually, I’d best apologise in advance for the size of the Photos I’m enclosing on this report, I saved them at full quality, so I had to really make them small.

Anyway, it was soon time to board HB-JZH, the easyJet Switzerland A319-111 that was operating our flight that morning. I ended up in seat 13A, and the view out the window of the fingerdock and Satellite Terminal was this
