…with the crappest livery.
but how much use would (mainly) East coast based US staff be to Virgin USA, if their HQ is to be in San Fran? That’s one helluva relocation package to put together quickly…
Did Sandy get an upgrade? No sign of him at windows 4/5
in the 1st. pic…
Wasn’t he supposed to be in seat F on the way back, anyway?
31A is the fourth row from the back.

so, er, I’d suggest that Sandy’s waving is obscured by the wing.
no, it’s 30 minutes before departure.
easyJet check-in desks close exactly 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight. easyJet recommends checking in two hours before departure. Passengers who present themselves after check-in has closed will not be allowed to board the flight and will forfeit their seat – no refund or free transfer will be given.
Passengers travelling with firearms, blind passengers, and passengers in wheelchairs must check-in at least 90 minutes prior to the departure of their flight to allow sufficient time for their special requirements to be recognised and handled. Passengers with any special needs or requirements must call the easyJet call centre in advance of travel to ensure the appropriate arrangements are made.
some large Violation? Step forward, Brian Scott…
nope, it’s an -800. -900’s look ridiculously long.
I told you by text message… I don’t have a scooby what happened to it. I’m told it was EI-DEA. (follow link for photo of her). http://www.worldairnews.ch/images/2004/AerLingus_A320_EIDEA.JPG
And the Islandsflug 734 I just missed (I blame the cement mixer I got stuck behind that was crawling along the road). http://www.worldairnews.ch/images/2004/AviaJet_B737_TFELZ.JPG
2 hrs. you get a 90 minute window to checkin.
bah. bizjets. yawn.
D’oh. the pictures are back to front, number wise.
could it have been a Charter? BA’s current flights to the Nigerian Capital is a daily 744 service from LHR, although obviously any future move to LGW would mean downsizing the aircraft, as no 744’s are based at Gatwick.
D’oh.
Skymonster- bet you didn’t see a Swissair MD-11… but yes, Swiss still have one in service, which is exclusively used on the ZRH-ORD run. It’s to leave the fleet at the end of the summer timetable, from whence the ORD run will be operated by an A330-200 (the aircraft becomes avaliable as Swiss stop flying ZRH-EWR mainline, and instead use a Privatair BBJ).
Is that EZY 319 G-EZEG? Looks like it could be, going on the letters above the cockpit (then again, it could be ED or EO, not the best of angles to read it off…)? Just wondering, as that’s the aircraft I flew home in from Berlin last month.
Talking of easyJet 319’s, got my next two flights booked. 😀
EZS961 GVA-BCN 24 Nov
EZS962 BCN-GVA 25 Nov
all easyJet Switzerland flights are operated by 319’s, so they’re deffo 319 flights. And by total coincidence, Celtic play at the Nou Camp on the evening of the 24th in the Champions League. Shockeroonie, eh? 😉
