LX flight to JFK would be an A330-200, and I’d guess that a KLM flight from GVA would be a 737 of some description or another…

I’m told it was actually LX17, JFK-ZRH, operated on the day by A330-200 HB-IQI.

DHL 757F and TU154. can’t remember what airline that was.

It was Swiss ATC’s fault, though…

no, jean, it’s because they’re laying off yet another couple of thousand staff.

However, as far as the call centre closures go, their reasoning that telesales have gone down as more and more customers book online makes sense, however unpalatable it is… 🙁

Nonetheless, no fear will BA go bankrupt.

    It’s the compass heading.

for example, if you were landed with a heading of 260 Degrees, you’d be landing on runway 26. the other end of the runway would be 08 (260-180 (from the other direction)= heading 80 degrees)

yeah, but it’s never gonna take off at MTOW from Britain to France… The Fuel tanks for example wouldn’t be full.

Er, Rab C lives in Govan… need I say more? just look at his neighbours on EdMinceton Drive/Copland Road/Broomloan Road… 😉

Anyway, at least Glasgow has charachter, Embra’s just a glorified tourist attraction. It’s soooooooo fake and overpriced.

(and yes, I have lived there, I went to Heriot Watt Uni)

And anyway, why wouldn’t anyone know where the Wirral is? it’s been emblazoned on Tranmere Rovers’ shirts for long enough…

yeah, both Wys (currently f/o 757 with TCX) and skycruiser (currently 744 flight crew with Cathay) used to fly Saab340’s for Aurigny.
