and this is linked to commercial aviation how?
they had 3 727’s, but only one of them was a pax variant, the other two were freighters.
There was an article in AW about them a year or two back, but they’re another of those smaller operators who’ve since gone out of business.
EAL, I think Albert’s point was that he’s in work, and shouldn’t be online just now, and certainly shouldn’t be making phonecalls to BAA from his office phone. Where did he have a go at you at all?
yeah, BHX has daily Emirates and PIA flights, as well as a few transatlantic flights (Continental, for example)
With Aeroflot, what you have to remember is that all CCCP- registered aircraft were deemed to be owned by Aeroflot, and operated in their liveries, even if they were just crop dusters.
Same applied for all the Soviet countries’ airlines (Interflug, Malev, etc.)

The population difference is rather stark… about 60 million in the UK compared to about 4 million in NZ, with about 2/3rds of those 4 million living in the North Island.
And how many billion Sheep? Something like 16Million? 😉
AA have twice daily flights from SXM to JFK, as well as a daily service to MIA (twice daily three times a week).
US Airways also fly to SXM, although I don’t know their frequencies off by heart, I believe they fly ex-PHL (GD should be able to tell you, he flew US when he visited)
ROTF @ prospect of Archie Gemmill terminal.
(And can we send his son there? Or anywhere far away from a Scotland squad, anyway? 😉 )
And seeing as how King Kenny passed the ball to Archie at the start of that move, maybe he should have a terminal named after him, too… how about the nearest airport to La Manga, as he’s undoubtedly it’s most frequent visitor…
Brian Clough?
why not St. Martin O’Neill International? :p
jeez, Sheepville? the one thing to always bear in mind is not to forget your thermals…

So are GNER changing their dark blue scheme, too?
didn’t see the programme either, and not about to start moaning about FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation [in der Schweiz]), but the whole IFE thing was fitted according to FAA rules, by Douglas themselves.

Don’t even have to be in an alliance to throughcheck baggage…
I flew Swissair BSL-ZRH-LHR (yeah, it was a cheap reward ticket, the promotion was only valid on Swissair flights Switzerland-LHR, not the Crossair direct flight from BSL) in 2001, and connected to BA for LHR-GLA. I checked my luggage through to GLA at BSL, although I had to get a boarding pass for the BA flight at the BA transfer desk at LHR.
Admittedly, neither of my two bags arrived in GLA with me, one came the same afternoon, from LHR on a bmi flight, and the other arrived the following day from ZRH, via LHR…
However, on the return flight, my luggage arrived in ZRH no problems (there was no connecting flight to BSL, so I got the train from there). I was surprised BA let me check my bags through, despite only having an SR e-ticket. Again, I had to get the boarding pass at the LHR transfer desk (Qualiflyer, this time), but over all, no problems.

Well we’ll find out soon, BBC network (London) asked Strathclyde Police if they could switch the game to Sunday as they are showing a couple of FA cup games live on Saturday. The Polis said NO !
😮 Strathclyde polis in ‘get something right’ shocker! 😮
(Incidentally, it might not have been obvious to our jug eared friend Mr. Lineker, but Auntie has an FA Cup game on Sunday, too… )
