The Delta 764 is a fake (who retracts the gear after passing through the clowds :()
Berlusconi’s ACJ has an interesting background, might be better in colour, though, and that SAS 330 is a cracker.
The landing bmi 330 is in a great light, and the brightness of the grass is startling… must be MAN with all the rain they get there… 😉
In fact, they were so close that LT8828 had to hold short on the taxiway while AF7337 began it’s takeoff roll.
… closely followed by LTU A330-200 D-ALPG, heading for the slightly more tropical destination of Punta Cana.
First time in absolute ages I’ve seen an A320-100. AF F-GGEF was operating the ORY shuttle, it taxied to 16, closely followed by…
This one’s a new one on me… Air France (operated by Regional) Embraer 120 F-GFEO operating the domestic service to Clermont-Ferrand.
The LH flight to MUC, operated by Team Lufthansa (Augsburg Airways) Dash 8 D-BHAT
Crossair Europe still operates the Saab 340 on behalf of Swiss on some routes, eg F-GPKD
Next up was the morning LHR run, operated today by A320 HB-IJJ
after the usual AF ERJ135 and Swiss ERJ145’s, swiss Saab 2000 HB-IZI touched down in a slight crosswind.
maybe, but this was about three years ago, dat ARJ100, OO-DWD, from gate B24(?) It was in the morning, and all the airbridges seemed to be occupied by arriving Sabena widebodies.
aye, have a good one
The only RJ I’ve been on is the Avro (146). don’t have a problem with it, nor have I had to walk across tarmac (except at BRU, but that was by bus) to reach one.
At the end of the day, they do what they’re designed to, and if you have a problem walking across tarmac and actually seeing some planes close up, as opposed to through some tiny window in the side of an airbridge, well, don’t we all want to see planes? 😉
if they’re looking to ‘recommence’ flights to the States, they must have flown somewhere in the States before…
feck, I haven’t flown since Christmas Eve… 🙁
anyway…
the routing was thus…
BA1479 GLA-LHR B737-436 G-DOCG (Chelsea Rose colour scheme)
followed by
BA6673/LX365 LHR-BSL MD-83 HB-ISX (one of only two MD-83’s in full Swiss colours)
I missed it it because the reception went down due to a thunder storm… isn’t that just bloody typical after a week of 40° odd degee temperatures…
ren, you still offering copies?
