No doubt the more astute amongst us have already found this site but for the benefit of others like myself, i stumbled across this site last night. Could be invaluable.

it’s a very good site have used before for research on airfields of north lincolnshire usaaf bases at goxhill , and 94th FS 1st FG short stay at kirton lindsey photo’s are also available along with report.
The Gannet has had it’s day I am afraid. I enjoyed watching her at Finningley in 1987 but the years ar Sandtoft havn’t been kind.
maybe there is hope for the other aircraft there its a sad state of affairs though i don’t think they have much interest in them. is says alot for the b-25 and lincoln then.
was the gannet at finningley when the sr71 blackbird displayed there as i went to see that. i went to a couple saw the vulcan fly amazing sight and sound but i was only 12 back in 1987 wish i had taken more interest.
not a problem i will post tomorrow night i can say there in a falling to bits as i was passing tonight there was an item of metal under XL502 that am sure hasnt been there before. as i said before i have been past come rain snow and sun. there as never been any coverings on the perspex or covers over engine air intakes its seems they have been dumped there and left to rot maybe am wrong. very sad sight indeed. aswell i heard on the grapevine there was parts of a lancaster KB976 there to not sure though?
i agree it’s sad passing them everyday watching them fall to bits 😡 . if i had the money i would try and buy XL502 and WS776 as i don’t i hope someone does soon.
it is a disgrace i live 10 mins away from sandtoft and and pass these aircraft on the way to work everyday it always looks to me that they were just dumped there and left out in the eliments all year round. there used to be adverts in the local telegraph looking for volunteers to restore these aircraft but by the looks of them it came to nothing. its about time these aircraft were bought and restored or placed in a better enviroment.it.s very sad to see. as well there are similar aircraft at hemswell like the EE lightning and cambera looking in a sad state.
superb thanks for that one must of missed it thanks again
i have i submitted the demolished tower photos to him for goxhill. thanks for info anyway. it seems there is no infomation for the place i’ll keep persevereing many thanks for help.
