G-APSA passed overhead Stapleford Airfield this morning at 10:45 local in a south easterly direction.
One of those captivating moments. 🙂
Tim,
If you right-click on an aircraft that you are viewing in Google Earth (presumably through http://www.openatc.com ), and copy the hexadecimal number that it reveals, paste it into http://www.airframes.org/ and it will give you the registration.
How portable are files that have been categorised in a particular program? I realise that the image can be viewed in any package, but if, for example, I index photos using ACDSee (using keywords, categories etc) and I later move to another application (Photoshop Elements for example), would the same keywords and categories still be readable and usable in the new program?
I’ve had 2 sigma lenses. The first one failed on holiday. It was replaced under warranty (just). The second one failed in exactly the same way. On holiday.
Quality optics or not, they are no good in pieces at the bottom of your camera bag while you try to find some other method of recording your holiday memories.
The following site will fill in a lot of gaps, but unfortunately not 1985!
Check here for show reports of years gone by. Although it can’t help in this instance (the only Newtownards report is from 2000), it may be useful for other memory joggers.
Do I see little Abbie’s fingers crossed there? (pic 1). Great atmospheric pics capturing such a wonderful event.
Dean,
Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I have telephoned Key for a replacement in the past (and received one promptly) but I don’t want to have to ring up for a replacement every couple of months when none of the other Key titles suffer in the same way.
I’m in manufacturing myself, so I know that nothing is 100%, but I’m puzzled why I seem to be unlucky.
Should I buy a lottery ticket?
😉
Cheers! 😎
Britannia,
What is the software containing the info on TF-ATC? I know there are numerous different ones on the market, but I was wondering which one this is?
Looks like an interesting day. I used to fly from Hus-Bos when I was studying in the East Mids in the early 90s. I know a lot has changed at the airfield since then, and it will be good to pop along and relive the memories.
Airborne again
I saw the Cat in the circuit at North Weald this evening (just before 6pm). I’m not sure if it was an air test, or a departure for distant shores. It may even have been inbound to North Weald – I didn’t see it for long enough to know its whereabouts in the circuit.
