It would help if the AF leadership would get on board with LM’s statistics regarding maintenance. When they over staff the maintenance crew and use procedures built around the current system, rather than following the advice from the manufacturer – that actually designed the plane to be maintained a new way – then numbers from each will be off.

Every radar is made aware of the specific coded signal and origin so that when that signal returns to its partners they all can gather their own information on the return. Its not just about shared tracks. In this way you can be sending and receiving simultaneously from multiple sources without confusing the return information.
