Wings at minimum deflection and flying with just fuel in the tanks, no payload. The early straight wing jet-fighters performed some amazing flights. Why wouldn’t something with much more modern equipment be able to re-accomplish those marvels?

But there was some literature some time ago that talked about it. I wish Google retained their old search look ups better. And the old dogpile.org multi-engine look up is pretty well dead these days. Google’s algorithms are basically worthless for finding older/little used web data in searches. Sure wish we still had more than a few unique search engines competing for web lusers.
The tvc’s on the F-22 allow it to surf the air without moving its control surfaces enough to matter visibility-wise. Your race car drivers are very familiar with the need to kick left to turn hard right, using inertia and an aggressive change of direction to manuever through curved space. You can over steer then correct your course to get the nose in the line that allows the body of the plane to act as the control surface. I’ve seen the B-2 do it. Its amazing how those stealths move with such agility.
The rail and fire control system for the Kh-58 are what make the R-60 compatible from what I understand. Wired in such a way as to be compatible and carried for an actual operation are not the same meaning. It is much the same way that to fit sidearm you had to actually give it sidewinder capability; the rail and fire control system of the sidearm had the capability for the latter to begin with.
Look for the ones with the sead capability.
Some RB’s were wired for R-60.
i was under the impression from way back when that the main purpose of TVC was to help with high-altitude high-speed maneuvering because the air is too thin at 60k+ for the control surfaces to be very effective

No, if you send four or more MiG-31’s for a sweep you cannot guarantee the F-22 goes undetected at any safe range. Of course, 4 jets to sweep for one is a total mismatch of resources…
90kN per engine is about the thrust of the original F-15A, only in the weight class of the F-17 prototype. That has to help.
