Me neither but over the years I have really enjoyed his direction on Bad Boys 1 and 2,The Rock,Armageddon ( I know that I’m in the minority here ) ,Pearl Harbour ( ditto ) and The Island.He certainly knows how to make an action movie and can’t really see how he can go wrong with this one.The teaser trailers look very good:D

Anyone seen the new film Aragon? Been trying to get hold of it but no such luck yet. Not living in the right shoppin area i guess.

But did watch Stigmata the other night. Really enjoyed it. Not to much blood and gore which suits me.:) 🙂 🙂 …… Anyone seen it and what did you think of the flashback grafics?

Hi ***a…….oops Jayne with a Y,I’ve seen both.Aragon is a very popular series of kids books and this first attempt to put this story onto the big screen is flawed but still worth a watch.
Regarding Stigmata,which I have seen many times,is recommended.The flash-backs refer to the lead-up to the crucifiction of Jesus.That the same is happening to a woman throwes a spanner in the works and therefore confuses the Catholic Church experts.

Irwan (Shadow1) has also recommended this (#563).I’m gonna put this on my “to watch” list 🙂 .

SPIDER-MAN 3
This is THE most expensive film we’ve ever seen at $250 million Dollars but it’s way too long because of the unnecessary story of Uncle Ben’s killer,who eventually becomes The Sandman.BTW,just what were those scientists doing in that pit of sand anyway????
Venom’s charachter was well built up and can’t wait to see more of that “bad puppy”.I also liked how they handled Harry/New Goblin and the whole theatre enjoyed the much maligned Peter Parker’s “walk down the street” and the dance in the Jazz Club.
Sam Raimi has not let the franchise down,but in trying to get as many bangs for his bucks,it isn’t the epic it should have been,but you won’t be dissapointed after seeing it either.
