Manston Airport,sorry for the windup,no malice intended.
Will it be split over two disks, with a complete commentary?! :diablo:
Disc 1 will be monochrome with an SDDS soundtrack, aspect ratio is 4:3.
Disc 2 is not a lot better,to watch the extras you’ve gotta log on to Sky and subscribe for at least 6 months.

Well last night you may have saw on Channel four was the film The Passion of the Christ I only saw the last hour or so and I am speachless about the film it was powerful and very gory and its made me wanna know more about Jesus and his time was it real or just a story?! who knows.
James
Gibson’s version of the last days of Jesus is truely radical and streets away from the usual doctrine trotted out by your local Vicar. This is not an enjoyable film where you come out humming the theme tune.I came out thinking W.T.F.???? and yes,it does plant questions in your head.
If you really wanna find out more, but be prepared for a LOT more reading, start with the info on Wikipedia.Your question “Was it real or just a story?” has been asked for over 2000 years and still nobody can say FOR SURE either way.I reckon that,in a few years time we will find out who was behind the killing of JFK,the true story behind Diana’s death and wether a guy really turned water into wine and fed an audience of 5000 on 5 loaves and 3 fish.To quote Fox Mulder “The Truth Is Out There” 😎

That sounds like one mother of a snow-fall Irwan:eek:
Malefique (2002).
I’ve been looking for this 2002 film for ages and came across it on play.com for a fiver delivered;) .It was well worth the wait.
This is a great low-budget horror from France, not a country you associate with blood and gore, and there is that aplenty in this film.
Suprise,suprise:rolleyes: ………Hollywood have picked up on this and are planning a re-make:( 😡 🙁
Eragon (2006).
A swords and sorcery adventure that really should have been better. It looks, visually and sceenery-wise,that it could have been set around the same time-line as Lord Of The Rings.
Great SFX,especially the Dragon, and beautiful cinematography.End of term report-could do better.
Seeing as this tale runs over three books it’s not surprising that a second installment is in the pipeline.Let’s hope they don’t screw-the pootch.

The curse of the clueless.
Stephen, when are you going to realise that a film is not a history lesson. The sound guys obviously came to the conclusion that the original engine sounds were not suitable for todays cinema-going public, who demand loadsa bangs for their bucks.I bow to your greater knowledge if indeed they did use Harvard sound bytes, but the average movie-goer wouldn’t know the difference and certainly would not detract from their enjoyment.Did you expect Spielberg to use authentic T-Rex roars and where do you think King Kongs “voice” came from.Todays sound guys are worth their weight in gold and can make or break a movie. Please post your review of Flyboys in the Last Film You Saw on GD:cool:
Good catch!
Nice to see a Hunter being “escorted” by a Tunnen and a Lansen;)
