“What is reality if you can’t trust your memory ?” If I remember correctly,because,I’m moving home and nearly all of the DVD’s are packed up and can’t call on this one for a reference,in the Director’s commentary,Paul Verhoven says that,at the end,D.Q./Hauser was labotomised and the light in the top corner that gets brighter is the drill entering his brain.BUT,surley,with the supposedly advanced technology they posess,why resort to the barbaric act of destroying part of someones brain :confused:
I love this sort of ending.16 years later and we’re still not sure how it ended 😀

2.Henry Fonda…………Best Actor in a leading role.
3.Best Writing…..Screenplay.

FYI,this was Henry Fonda’s last film and the only film he and his daughter Jane appear together.
A little bit of trivia…….The brown Fedora worn by Mr Fonda once belonged to Spencer Tracy,and was given to him by Ms Hepburn.She and Tracy were close friends 😉 😎

It is entertaining but they always seem to panic at the slightest thing. You take cougar for instance, if a MiG on his six can screw him up that much what on earth is he doing flying an F14 into combat??????? I thought US Fighter Pilots were highly trained in evasion manoeuvres.
