RE: News from algerian Carrier Khalifa Airways
Yup but isn’t it only oil charters to Hassi Mesoud?
RE: Spotting
At Bournemouth you can see a little Islander in Air Jamacia colours 🙂
You can also see:
Palmair/EAL 737-200s maybe a 747.
Ryanair
Channel Express
Le Cocqs
And other occasional charters like BY.
RE: German wings part of Lufthansa ??
It is partially owned by LH and was formed with Eurowings A319s.
With LH having their own low cost airline it ensures they keep dominating the German market. With the likes of Ryanair and Hapag-Lloyd Express moving in I think it is a rather good idea.
RE: And the worst songs this year?
Dan330, the Austin Powers singer was Biance Noel singing Work It Out. She is lead singer with Destiny’s Child.
With regards to Avril Lavigne, her music is good. She defies what is common practice with singers these days and writes her own songs. She has also changed what we consider as pop and added a rock influence to it.
The way she dresses is also setting her apart from your average Britney or Christina. When Britney Spears donned her school uniform for the video of Baby One More Time she established that young female artists should never be knowingly overdressed. Yet Avril Lavigne wears skatepunk gear, a huge different to others in her class.
The music industry is full of attractive yet talentless people. Lavigne is different and proof that you can be attractive, yet not have to sell your body and also can sing.
Avril Lavigne makes a welcome change in the pop music business and I hope she sticks here for a long time.

RE: My gawd, what is this?
The colour scheme is good. It is very vibrant and sticks out in the crowd. The font doesn’t do it any justice but I like the impression it gives of a big yellow taxi.
The airline itself should be a success. The German low cost market is still crying out for low cost carriers. This year the have been a huge burst in the number of low cost carriers in Germany and the people are loving it after having a very traditional market for years.
The area Cologne/Bonn is situated is also another good thing. The Belgian and the Netherlands boarder are not far from the airport and also a large number of the German population live in North Rhine-Westphalia (17 million I think) so there is a lot of potential. Virgin Express was thinking of setting up base there.
RE: Airliner World – old news?
I shouldn’t dwell in the backpages of the magazine but if you look at the picture of Nagoya airport you will see there is a CO 737.What is it doing there?Do CO operate feeder services to other cities or is it an airline like Continental Micronesia?Just wondering…
RE: AZ:Milan or Rome?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-11-02 AT 06:51Â PM (GMT)]The situation Alitalia is in is probably managed by politics rather than business interests,as usual. The situation with AZ being torn between Milan and Rome is proof. However, what is strange as well is the fact that some flights are operated in Milan from Linate and others from Malpensa.
All Alitalia’s longhaul flights are operated from Malpensa and then some European routes from Linate,if i’m correct. In no other European country is this done.Again this hurts both the airports and airline.I just don’t understand the reasoning behind it..
RE: News from algerian Carrier Khalifa Airways
Good to see London being served by Khalifa.I’ve always thought that the UK has been underserved from Algeria,so these new flights to London (LGW?)are a great addition.I have heard that Kalifia have been interested in London for a while now.
The NY flights I am not sure about.I’ve always thought that there would not be a market for them.flyairbus380,what do you think about them?
Anyway,thanks for the news.
RE: Adoption
In my own opinion I believe that gay adoption should be allowed and even more so for single people. There are obvious concerns from people and the politicians, but I do not consider that people should be segregated from adoption just because of their sexual orientation.
The children who are in adoption accommodation have come from all different backgrounds and may have different problems. Surely for these children continuously living in this type of care, it is not helping them regain whatever is left of their youth and return to normal life which has sadly been deprived of them? The adoption services do a wonderful job for thousands of children, however ,I doubt anything is better for a child than a loving home where they feel safe and happy. What is to say a gay couple cannot offer this to a child?
There are concerns I know. The way which the parents and children will be treated by others is one of the main concerns, but is another person’s prejudice really a reason to ban someone from being a parent?
People against gay adoption say gay parents set have a bad influence as parents. I highly disagree with this. Most gay people are born from straight parents, so how can sexual orientation be something you learn from your parents?
In countries like Sweden, gay adoption has been legalised. In these countries now I would believe there to be many gay parents. If there are already many good gay parents then it proves that gay people make fine parents and the opinion that gay people set a bad moral example as parents is a wrong statement.
I think single parents not being able to adopt is prophetic. If they can support a child and love them like any other single parent does, why not let them adopt, after all there are thousands across the UK.
In the modern world we live in,the rule that gay and single people cannot adopt is well behind times and goes against human rights. Is it right to say that just because they are single or gay they will not be good parents.No,never.It is time people faced the truth that in modern life gay people or single people to a lesser exstent, are just as part of society and have just as gooder qualities as you and me.

RE: Aer Lingus
Ok…Dublin anyway is a beautiful and lively city, one of my favourites actually.
RE: PIA orders 8 B777’s
I have never been a big fan of the PIA livery but on the 777 it does look rather nice looking.
