    RE: Civvie spotting question…

I’ve heard a few stories of people being told to leave certain airport when they’ve been there early in the morning or late at night. It is an unusual time for plane spotting!People acting strange around the airports is another occasion when they have been questioned by police.
I guess at an airport like FRA where you have both military and civil there is hightened security but I wouldn’t they are anti-spotter at all.

    Dcfly,
Are you in love? I’ve always considered that the best way to experience the true ambience and character of gay Paris. Sadly I have not had the pleasure encountering the true romantic Paris like many people; the closest I got was CDG but still there was something missing :7

Could be something to do with Air Algerie?I know they have some sort of co-operation with Khalifa,or it could just be a charter of some sort?

Paris: a view along the Avenue de Champs-Élysées. The contrast between the old and modern is spectacular. The new contemporary, energetic and chic city lies behind the historical, matured and cultured Paris where the real life lies.
The tree-lined avenue reflects the calmness and tranquillity of a relaxed, laid back city. The French flag gracefully flying in the Champs-Élysées just finishes the picture for me and represents everything about this splendid city. Definitely one of my favourite cities in Europe.

    RE: Ambitions As A Child??????

Well I still consider myself to legally be a child but of course I still have ambitions. As a child you need something in your life to work for and to hopefully one-day gain and satisfy yourself. Obviously I am none the different and I have many ambitions.

Being a civil aviation anorak my ambition is to get my Pilot’s license. I have been encouraged to do this and so now have a few hours under my belt in a small Piper. Ultimately I would like to be a commercial Pilot or an Air Traffic Controller. If I continue with my education and keep a deep interest in aviation then hopefully I will accomplish my ambition.

Obviously Star seem a fraction too confident that SAA will join the Star Alliance…
I actually think it is because this aircraft was in the special Star Alliance colours so it was painted in full SAA colours. Normally I believe a sticker is stuck on the aircraft to show it is being leased by a different airline. I would think that because this was in Star Alliance colours, it would be best to the A330 in the full SAA colours so people don’t get the wrong idea. The fact the A330 still carries the logo could be because of a painting error or just a reminder that this aircraft is owned by bmi.

I was looking for the Islander, however,I can’t find it.Search for an Air Jamacia Islander,I think that has something to do with them.
