RE: AFM forum not working again!

What is to say that would happen this time? The webmaster seems confident that it will not as it says in the forum upgrade message.

We are told that an upgrade is going to occur, what I don’t see the point of is the Webmaster fixing these current problems when a new forum type is apparently going to be implemented? Surely if these problems are reoccurring then it would be of benefit of us and to the WM if a new board was put in place?

I know at first we were all against the move because of the server crash and all the problems which occured, but over the past weeks we all know there have been problems with DCForum and still it is not perfect.

I think as long as the new forums were to have the same features, which we like and we were warned about a change over then a new switch over would be of less hassle and bother?

I’m sure others feel the same way.I don’t claim to be a computer expert but that is what I think and I am entitled to my opinion. After all,can it really be second time unlucky?

I’m sorry if I annoyed you in anyway 🙂

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-10-02 AT 02:42 PM (GMT)]Why is this continuously happening to AFM and FP for that matter?I know there are bugs in the system but I thought the problem was fixed?

Methinks that the new Vbulletin should be implemented soon.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-10-02 AT 08:55 AM (GMT)]Quite a surprise for a normally Boeing minded company and country. KLM have ordered the A330 and now Martinair with the A320.Seems that maybe Airbus has got a foot in the hard ground of the Dutch market.
Who knows,we could see some more Boeing orders from die Nederlands!

RE: Spanish high speed train pic

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-10-02 AT 08:42 AM (GMT)]At least it moves….
Virgin trains are supposed to introduce the Italian made tilting trains on UK routes, but because of the tracks they can’t go at their full speed!
I’ve seen the French TGV and that is a beautiful train. The speed is magnificent on it. However,I doubt it could work in the UK because to run the train at full spped you need miles of flat, open countryside, which France has.
The trouble with the French trains is that the country is centralised. This means that to catch the main trains, for example Paris-Lyon, I would have to jump on a train at a place called St.Malo to Rennes and from Rennes to Paris…a confusing system!
Anyway, the Spanish trains look different to say the least, but whats what with a modern rolling stock with a modern and distinct look?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-10-02 AT 04:43 PM (GMT)]I’m doubtful they will go bankrupt. They will just continue with their restructuring plan and will emerge with a smaller fleet, fewer routes and a better cost structure.

RE: The Washington Sniper —- Death???

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-10-02 AT 11:31 AM (GMT)]They should definitely face the death penalty if found guilty of the sniper killings. What they have done is an act of barbarity and is inhuman.
However,I was watching the news earlier and it said that the younger of the two’s age is not correctly known. It is unclear whether he could face the death penalty in Maryland, which does not allow juveniles to be executed. There may discrepancies with his age, and he may be older than 17.
