I can understand that some may see the images that members’ have added to their signature, as an irritation and nuisance to you while reading. I openly hope that members who have adopted this form of signature, like myself, take the displeasure of others into consideration as this discussion board is here for all to enjoy, therefore everyone is entitled to voice and complain there opinions on something which gives them bother.
For members who wish to participate in the moving text or image signature sort of trend, I do not see that a large amount of harm can be done. The whole idea of it is to brighten up something, which is normally rather dull and predictable, into a bright and cheerful space. As long as the text or image is within a reasonable size and colour, as has been said, then I cannot see any problems arising from it. Moreover, surely if someone is reading a post they are not going to see the moving image or text till they come to the last couple of sentences? How much distress can this course?
I hope some agreement can come about this issue 🙂
