    RE: Seen at AMS…

Really?I’ve always thought that the US airlines want to get away from Shannon, but because of the Irish law they have to go DUB-SNN-US which I know has annoyed Delta especially.

    RE: Seen at AMS…

What interest would Aeroflot have in operating an airline in Ireland?

    RE: TOP TELLY!

Didn’t Sonia direct Phil to Stansted to give Lisa extra time?I think Lisa was actually going from Heathrow to Portugal (I could be wrong)

    RE: Flightdeck PA’s

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-10-02 AT 04:01 PM (GMT)]Cruising height, speed, type of aircraft, detailed route (what cities etc)When I came back on a Flybe 146 the captain was very good, gave exact details about timing, route and what we would see such as Southampton docks, the needles,IOW for example. He also addressed the flight crew by their first names which gave a personal touch.
On Air Malta the capotain made a joke abot the crew!that got everyone laughing.

    RE: Christmas is coming

I haven’t seen snow in 5 years (at least nothing major) The sea is just too warm for any cold snow to pass over, anything we do get is in the form of rain.Whenm I went skking last year it was nice to remember what snow looked and felt like!
Last few Christmas’ over here in Guernsey,it has ever rained of been overcast.Last year it was rather sunny, but I don’t like that as I think it takes away a certain feeling you get at christmas.

    RE: Sp[ell Checkers ???

At least you can edit your posts,on the rating system once you’ve rated you can’t edit. You would be surprised how many times I read over what i’ve wrote and then realised I was wrong ever with my grammer or spelling…annoying!Nowadays, whenever I post I just get miceosoft word up and type in to that then copy and paste.Checks all my spelling and grammer and I can also use the theasurus if I don’t like the word i’m using.

    RE: Tower

There are a few towers I like, but here are my two favourites,JFK and LAX.

JFK:Its looks are unique and it looks extremely modern compared to other towers.

lax:Very stylish.I like all of the different curves it has.

    RE: Aeroflot’s meals

The first meal looks edible, the second looks quite repulsive.I’m sure the meals during Aeroflot’s communist era would of been worse!
