    RE: UAL93

I watched something similar on Monday on Discovery.Hearing the phone calls from passengers onboard is extremely sad but at least the people who tried to take the aircraft from the highjackers saved others from death if that aircraft had been directed at the White House. They died heros’.
Apparently the passengers did not take the aircraft over successfully because it seemed, that there was a struggle for control, which lead to the aircraft turning up side down and then crashing at near full speed in to fields, according to eye witness reports. There was also a light aircraft pilot onboard who with the help of ATC,could of landed the aircraft.

RE: London City – Brilliant Airport

Glad you enjoyed yourself.LCY does indeed look like a nice airport. It caters mostly for people on buisness because of its proximity to central London and also because of its good links to the major European buisness centres such as Brussels and Paris.I think another good thing about the airport is its size, its small terminal and turn around time, for example,it makes it a better option for people wanting an easy journey, compared to Heathrow.
Its an airport I would love to go to because,as you said, only small aircraft are permitted to land there because of noice regulations and obviously the runway size,so I would be able to see some of my favourite aircraft such as the Fokker 50 and BAe 146.Also that angle of descent must be fun!
How was your trip on VLM?Its a large operator over here in GCI in the summer,so i’m interested to know what they are like.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-09-02 AT 04:41 PM (GMT)]Aurigny Trislander GCI-ACI-SOU.Some bad turbulance and also I was in a small and cramped aircraft for 60 minutes which was less than comfortable.I go to SOU now I will fly Flybe.
I enjoyed my experience with Virgin Atlantic, however,we were delayed for 4 hours but we got meal vouchers and 10% discount on our next VS flight so not that bad.I only recieved one half can of lemonade on my whole flight as well so I got dehidrated.
