RE: Your fav place in the world?

Though I haven’t been to many places in Spain,I think the cities of Malaga,Barcelona and Seville are all beautiful with the typical Spanish architecture.Though I haven’t been to Spain that many times,I think that if you want to see the nice areas you must go inland or to costal areas which have not been discovered by the package holiday.

No,not all. Some of the areas such as the Costa Del Luz (Spelling) are unspoilt by the development of the package charter and so these areas are typical Spanish holiday destinations with nice golden sand, nice bars and restraunts and none of those silly British bars and night clubs.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-08-02 AT 08:07 AM (GMT)]I’m not to keen on the Costa Del Sol,Torromalinos and Benalmadena are typical British destinations, full of English and Irish bars. There are touts trying to sell you time shares and also in an evening you had copyed cds or african art shoved in your face every five minutes even when you were trying to eat a meal.Benalmadena is very dirty and full of dog mess, not very pleasent.
Marbella is all hyped up in my opinion.Ok its full of big boats and designer shops but its still not the nicest place i’ve been to.Salou was alright, but again it caters for the British. When I go away I like to sample the culture, this is what I hope to do in Menorca this year.

    RE: Europe’s Worst Airport?

CDG gets my vote.I found T1 to be very old and tacky. On arrival the luggage hall was very cramped with ageing carrousel and it was very dark. The check in area was again cramped and navigating up the esculators, around the round circle main terminal just to get to security, was very confusing.Hardly any shops and restraunts, where there were some shops it was hard to move because of the width of the walkway. The tunnels to the satellites were dark and dirty and in the satellites,I found it was like going back to the 80s.Old torn seats,no working confectionery machines and no proper area to cue to board all made it a big disappointment as I had expected a beautiful terminal which put airports such as Heathrow to shame!
