    My favourite book is Animal farm because there are so many different ways you can interpret it such as the simple way about a group of animals who take over a farm or you can take the hidden meaning about communism.I also like reading biographies,I read the autobiography of Richard Branson around a month,very good.

    Ahhh right!No I wouldn’t have mch trouble in finding them in that dialect because some language company has started making VCR tapes and ones for radios for the schools on the island. :7

    I totaly agree with you Hand87_5,DVD’s are exellent to learn languages with. I have been thinking for quite a while now that I would learn another dialect called Jerriais or try a bit more spanish but the courses are just to boring (I know how to say hello in Spanish!!!)and are just to slow when you know a bit already so I might consider a DVD/tape/computer program with which i might learn some new language in a fun way.

    ITV or channel TV over here are doing something to the ariels in which we pick up ITV,think they might be converting to digital or something.

    T5,the trouble with the holiday brochures is that they are not always correct if you are going charter.When I went to Tunisia our flight to Monastir was said to be an AIH 757 but was actually a BD A321 so even though it may say that in the book it could be a totally different aircraft or airline.

    For those of you who can’t get ITV at the moment due to some regional problems with satellites (e.g. ME!)there are repeats of Airport on UK horizons. 😉

    more frequently. The wide-body aircraft that landed on Madeira was:
    Tap Air Portugal A310, A340 São Paulo, Johanesburg, Caracas, Lisbon
    Hapag Lloyd A310 Hannover, Munich
    Air Luxor 767-300, L1011 Lisbon
    Sata Internacional A310 Toronto, Lisbon, Azores
    Condor 767-300 Munich
    Air 2000 767-300 Gatwick
    In Madeira never landed a 747 a MD11 but with the runway extension to
    2781m any type of aircraft, of any part of the world coul land.

    Good news.Boeing really needs this to compete with the Airbus A330/A340.The 757/767 have been very popular but over the years,even with the improvments,there has been a lack of customers an example being the 767-400 which has lost out to its Airbus competitors.A brand new aircraft in my opinion is what is needed.

    Yes they are turning orange!Inmy opinion something like this wasbound to happen to Deutsche BA (now known as DBA)as they really were getting rid of their BA subsidiary image and entering the low cost market.

    I’ve seen number 1 before somewhere!just can’t think of the airlines name.
    Number 2 must be a RAM 747-400.
