    This was a hard one!!!!!Its a small island in the pacific only around 10 miles out of Los Angeles called Santa Catalina.It has a small airport near the main town of Avalon.Ther are also other island around it,NOLF Sn Nicolas island,Santa Barbara and San Clemente NALF with the Anacapa islands to the north.I will post more easier ones in the future!

    I love the ERJ 145 and the 135,mainly because of its shape is so streamline which helps it climb extremely quickly.No ERJ’s have ever been into GCI which is a shame because of something to do with runway size they cannot operate the aircraft in at full capaity.When iu was at Southamptonit was amazing seeing all the BA regional 145’s,most of the services from SOU are run by a 145.Great aircraft!

    Even shorter route for the 146 is JER-GCI when British European go via GCI on the morning sunday gatwick flight.Around 10 minutes.

    Good guess at Cannes but its not!Cannes only has a small airport which excepts buisness jets.Anyway its Nice,like you Dan i fly there quite often on my FS!

    The owner of airtours lives in jersey,his house is amazing all in marbel and fantastic views of the fields and the coast of france,i passed it when i was over there in december.I heard he was retiring some time soon.

    Great pic!I love the Fokker,it was an aircraft ahead of its time and has been very popular.I remember when British Midland used to operate them into GCI it was a real change from the usual dash 8 and ATR byut unfortunatly we do’t get them any more.

    Sad news that we will loose Manx there livery is beautiful with the red and green,the airline definately knew where its roots were,the IOM and it will be a shame to see them absorbed into another BA subsidiary.What will happen to the BAe 146 G-MIMA?
