    RE: Pornography! ! ! !

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-12-02 AT 07:28 PM (GMT)]Pornography is harmful in many ways, including damage to marriage relationships, loss of childhood innocence, addiction to it and the shaping of negative attitudes towards all the sexes.
In the worst cases, such attitudes can progress to the conduction of these actions in a illegal form all based on pornography’s distorted view of sexuality. On the basis of this,in my opinion pornography should be placed under strict controls.
    Others opinions will obviously differ…

Definitely excellent news, I really do see an encouraging future for this aircraft. I think it is destined to be a cargo aircraft more in Asia and Western Europe rather than passenger, but still very promising.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-12-02 AT 07:26 PM (GMT)]So she got on a regional flight from Halifax to St.Johns, however, fell asleep and stayed onboard for the onward trip to London?Weird…you would think someone would wake her up and check, although on an aircraft of that size (767?) it is easier said than done.

Something similar has happened to me on a boat, lucky enough I got off on time :7 Lack of communications on the companies behalf…

Air New Zealand does seem to be running into a lot of problems. I think they really need to sort and check out their maintenence otherwise they will sadly be getting a reputation.

Appears to have brightened up a cold winter’s day in Brussels with that energetic and blazing colour scheme! I presume the new c/s has something to do with Deutsche Post who have acquired DHL?

    RE: UA files for Bankruptcy

Very sad, although Chapter 11 does not mean the end.We now just have to wait and see what becomes of them.I don’t think it will be the end of them, hopefuly they will emerge a stronger yet leaner company.

his doesn’t mean they will fly into the history books as another Pan Am but more a Continental who had their problems, however, are still strong today.

    RE: Shorts Belfast

    Hi,
I tend to keep away from Flypast but I have some information on the Shorts Belfast, which might be of some use to you.

There has been alot of false information going around about what is happening to the Shorts. Here are two of the rumours:
The Heavylift Belfast has been acquired by a cargo operator called Lionair who will operate the aircraft in the Middle East.

Another rumour is that an airline called South Pacific Air will take it downunder where it will be based in Melbourne.

At the moment it is at Prestwick where it will remain until a new AOC is issued.
There is alot of confusion about the aircraft and what is happening to it but I think we can rest assure it is leaving the UK.It is definitely a beautiful aircraft and hopefully it will be back up in the sky some time soon.

    RE: Report!

I have had the joys of flying Cityflyer and BRAL so there is an obvious difference between their service and the former Manx service.

I travelled on a Manx ATP a long time ago and I thought the service was pretty good. However, going back to the mid 1990s all airline service was good compared to what we have today with all this economising and cutbacks.Got a nice salmon sandwich and a chocolate bar I think!
