According to airliners.net there is a rumour that a germanwings plane has crashed.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hopefully not true, but if it’s on a.net then it’s probably just another rumour.

I think many people will know the kinds of topics I mean, things such as “so and so and so’s summer of love”, “so and so’s love in”, topics named after individual members and containing nothing but infantile trash.

Hee hee, the next time someone complains about the misuse of precious bandwidth, they could claw a heck of a lot back by deleting that entire forum. 😀

I don’t see what’s wrong with including flight reports, I find them informative, entertaining and a useful source of market research into the services offered by individual airlines.

It doesn’t – it just says that flyBE plan to expand in Scotland. It would be unusual for an airline to publish its future route plans in detail in a press release.

They’ve already expanded in Scotland in a regional routing sense, any future routes in a continental expansion are pure speculation at this moment in time.

Thanks for the thought LBARULES and just when you think it can’t get any worse I came into work after the afternoon break today to find my number has changed and all calls (including internal calls) have to go through the operator as someone rang one of the expats here earlier and has said they will kill us all (2 italians and 4 Brits). I am hoping to get out on July 1st and I wont feel safe till I am out of Saudi airspace. I never knew that people could hate so much.
Mind you I am getting a bit off topic here – apologies.

Enjoy the holiday and hope you get the hell out of there ASAP. See you in Edinburgh for a visit some time. 😮

It’s funny you should say that, because I’m sure easyJet announced a few weeks ago that they were stopping the EMA route. Never got a reason.

Yes, there are all sorts of rumours and counter rumors flying around just now. When Bmi Baby moved the Cardiff service to PIK, they cited the reason for not moving the East Midlands route as well was in order not to let Easyjet rule the roost at Glasgow.

Now they’re saying they’re thinking of axing the route, as are Easyjet apparently. I guess it’s not a great seller for either operator. When you consider check in times, transfer times etc etc, it’s probably just as quick to take the car.

Similar to me then, 10D with Canon EF 75-300mm f4-5.6, cheap but very cheerful. I’m not rich either, final repayment in September yeehah !!!!

Do you mean the Baby flight to EMA or BMi’s flight to LBA?

The EMA Baby flight, their Glasgow-Cardiff service moved to PIK and is also struggling, so much so that they’ve handed the running of it to Air Wales using one of the ATR’s instead of the 737.

Easyjet are easily beating them on the EMA flight apparently ?
