Planes rarely have to pass underneath the one at DEN. How much taller is the A380 than the 744 anyway?

    About this much…

I’m searching out a flight from GLA as we speak. 😀

Yikes, can’t afford any of the flights I’ve found for 23rd July, is there a major event going down in Amsterdam or something ?

You guys need to get there on Jul 22-24, (23rd for spotting) when I’m there. 😉

Wonder why you don’t really get many of the charter carriers in these scales.

Because the main manufacturers are catering for the US and Asian markets apart from the worldwide BA fanclub of course.

Gemini did a nice Air 2000 757 though it has to be said.

Nice stuff Andy, I just missed out on an EK 773 recently myself. I’ve got some on order just now, namely an Air Force One 747, an Air Atlanta Europe 742, a Cargolux 744 and a Caledonian L10-11 Tristar. 😀

I-Pod, a flash walkman that can store all the music in the world ever, ever !

As my mate said, “That’s gonna be one long feckin walk of the dog round the park.” 😮

    Add an “o” into BB.

But would you watch it ?

Interflug, you are indeed correct, I find it sad that us wannabes have to aspire to such carriers, but as you say, it’s a launch into the industry, and at the moment any way in must be taken!

Exactly the same in the TV business, yesterday there was a recruitment advertisment for a television sports company hoping to make a splash covering the Scottish Premier League for the next four years. Basically the Ryanair of television. “Camera Operator’s required, experience preferred, graduates considered”

I assume the likes of Ryanair et al are no more than a good starting point and a place to gain experience, whilst suffering poor terms and conditions along with something of a shafting salary wise ?

Yes indeed, that’s the one! How much did you pay for it?

About £11 all in on e-bay. There’s a DW 727 available too in that livery. 😉

My forst 2 nominations are Michael O Leary and Stelios.

You might be better proposing an airline version of Celebrity Death Match for those two, better still Eddington V Branson. 😀

I’m surprised the suggestion of adding an “o” into the middle of BB hasn’t been made yet ? I wonder who’ll suggest it ? (lol)

Can I ask a silly question coming from one with little knowledge of these things ?

Why wasn’t the wreckage of the aircraft removed at the time or afterwards of the crash ? Ok I know there was a battle on but was it policy to just to leave the wreckage there and then in such cases or was it so deeply impacted into the ground that it was easier just to fill in the hole than remove the plane ?

I’m wondering if they’ll do a world sales and PR tour with one and also if they might show it off in the form of a flypast at airport’s that can’t handle it ?
