I’m surprised to see EDI outdoing PIK in the cargo stakes, given that PIK’s main business income comes from handling cargo/freight and also given the number and size of freighter’s that can be witnessed passing through, mainly 747’s but a lot of DC-10’s A300’s and the odd Soviet type.

To echo the others, I agree that you should take the time now to put things right personally, so that you can approach your career with a clear and focussed mind. Niggling doubts and anxieties will only deter you from your ultimate goal which we are all looking forward to you reaching as much as you are.

Good luck with whatever decisions you make. 😉

In keeping with the spirit of the thread, here’s a shot from the plane (Aer Lingus A330-200) of the journey to LAX. It’s been on before but I’ve a better scanner now.:D

Your absolutely right Dude, as evidenced in this photo I took from the car window…

Interesting read Kevin, from your shot approaching STN it’s possible to realise the difference in size between a 732 and 737/8, as two are parked side by side. I hadn’t realised the 732 was so small in comparison ?

Nice shots, but I think you’ve demonstrated why optical zooms are streets ahead of digital zooms.

Yeah, it was on a rooftop and I could see about six (mainly police) choppers on there. We got stuck in traffic coming in from Joshua Tree, heading for Hollywood, I’m sure it was the 110, I have a photo somewhere to look out.

I remember driving along that main freeway alongside the downtown district and seeing a huge helipad of some sort on the roof of a carpark or something similar. I am right and is it also in the picture ?

I recall seeing those Air Bridge Vickers Vanguards at Glasgow often in the 1980’s.

Incidentally, I’m only getting a little grey dot in the middle of frame when trying to view the new Air Bridge pictures.:(

    Gabba Gabba Hey!

You take off from 23 and turn left? Surely that would have you heading south ? Do you mean 05, turning left heading north and then west with a turn south towards Ayrshire and TRN as you describe ?

I’ve no qualms about the Concorde going on display in the USA, but I still think it looks feckin ridiculous on that boat.
