Something tells me Air Canada, the City of Toronto and Lester B Pearson International Airport will be shocked by their geographical reevaluation… (either that or the DES [Department of Education and Science] will be congratulating themselves on upholding their usual standards… ;))
Ha ha… oops ! D’ya ken whit a mean Bhoy ?:D
Rumours abound of Air Canada giving up GLA in the face of severe competition though…:( Not sure if Zoom counts as scheduled or charter though ?

The chemical solution that is sprayed on aircraft for the purpose of de icing is called Glycol, i’m not sure of it’s chemical compound, maybe someone who works in the aviation field can tell us
Same stuff they use on the roads over here in winter I believe ? It’s also what I spray on my frozen windscreen to get the ice off quickly. Not too environmentally friendly I’m told.:(

Is there such as a Cheers bar, i always thought it was a Hollywood set
The set is in LA and the exterior is in Boston. It’s a real bar though, don’t think it’s actually called Cheers though ?
Been meaning to visit Boston for ages. If Northwest or AA ever reinstate the Glasgow-Boston service, I’ll be right over for a look at Logan International and Cheers Bar of course !:D
Excellent as ever. I love LAX shots in particular.:D

Well done, and how great the first flight was piloted by a Scotsman 🙂
Yes it was a nice touch. Apparently the plane was officially named “Pride of Scotland” at a ceremony in Dubai. Fuselage graphic to follow ?
Here’s a photo from today to help you celebrate. Hope the MOT went OK ? 😀

It should be according to booking figures so far.
And away… the first flight a complete sell out, success…:D
I didn’t make it round to the stand in time for the water salute, here she is taking off for the seven hour flight to Dubai…
A very smooth touchdown, appreciated by all the snappers and spotters around me on the mound…
You’re nearly as old as me now (lol). Maybe catch you at GLA today for the Emirates birthday display. 😀
Depends on which runway but probably. I’ll PM you the details later on. Off to work now.
Arrives 1225 and departs 1400. 😀
