Sounds similar to the BBC in London taking all the profits made in the regions to shore up it’s expenses policy.
Nice one and a good spot there too.

Correct, I meant to say that.
You must have missed them last year Bhoy, they did a twice weekly to Florida last July using their 742’s. Here’s one arriving on 23, courtesy of Fred Seggie’s Canon D60…
People are often referring to Aberdeen as The St Maarten of the north you know ! (lol):D
Palmair (European) 737-200 as witnessed at Tenerife South (10/2/04) Photo through dust coated glass:(
I agree that Tahiti and BWIA are absolutely superb. I believe in colour and boldness in a livery. Too many white planes out there now. Air Jamaica is also great, Air Scandic is over the top as is the latest version of Thomson.
The trouble with some liveries is tha they start off quite well, then the CEO’s and marketing fairies start adding on things like “.com” or slogans that completely destroy the original vision created by the designer. I felt BA’s Landor scheme was over the top, basically the same as the prior red tail look, with some “over the topness” provided in the form of the coat of arms and red cheat line.
It was interesting watching a bunch of golfers on my recent Tenerife trip get progressively p*ssed on my return flight. Although they didn’t get violent, they did become a complete pain in the a*se.
The cabin crew handled them superbly and told them they couldn’t have another drink unless it was coffee. Follwed by a discreet mention of spending the night in Paisley’s Mill Street police station upon arrival. This seemed to do the trick. I’m from Paisley and can understand.:D

I rather like it except for the wavey line at the bottom.Straigthen that out and maybe paint it silver and it would be nice.It reminded me of Jet2.
There’s probably a reason for that.. Jet2 and Globespan are using planes provided by a common supplier… Channel Express.
Indeed, happy birthday to all the just seventeeners !:D
All I can say is that students have much more time on their hands than I did as one (lol) 😀
Also a backlit raindrop on a window shot in macro mode.:D
