Another great design Sandy, I like it but unlike others I like the boldness of the red. You’d certainly see that coming on a dark night.
BTW did you ever send that great Loganair design into them ?

Yep it is… Ex – G-CCMY
Ah… G-CCMY, I knew her well…
One wonders, therefore if airlines such as European will pick up some of those ex-BA 744’s when the time comes ?
Not much cop for shooting planes from within. I should have had enough time to venture out of the building for some exterior possibilities. Unfortunately my connecting bus to the airport took forever as did the check in procedure, so all of the slack time was mopped up. Plenty of aviation goodies to be seen however and of course the weather was excellent. I leave you with this final shot to banish your winter blues and appease the palm tree lovers…adios:D

Ren, assuming that BY 767 was on stand when you took the photo I was about 100 yards to the left and on the next row back.
It was on stand Wys, right at the end of the terminal more or less, I must have driven right past your 757 on the bus across to our plane. Taking a picture from the bus would have been impossible as I had a small pensioners head in my armpit at the time, not to mention the two children headbutting my kneecaps.:D
The perils of shooting through two windows are there for all to see…
I wanted a decent shot of the Air Berlin 737 behind this My Travel A320, but it was too far away and the glass was too dirty.
Back at TFS, a Palmair 732 arrives, framed within the boomerang wing of a Hapag Lloyd, Tui 738.
A cold and grey start to it all at GLA on 3/2/04 at 8am.
This Britannia 767 had the old livery but with the Thomson name applied to the side. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a shot of the side. Good job you can open the windows in heat like that +24 degrees.
Of course the lack of plane pics is largely down to vistas like this…
And the clown’s next to me have yet to board…
Today’s adjacent aircraft was…
Just in case I forget the reg…
Nice tail…
