Here’s a shot taken by Soviet spy satellite of Ren’s desert fleet at “Black Sands” Utah. 😀

Garlic is a vital and essential ingredient in many a fine dish. Perhaps Mrs posh is upset as she may not have tried it in her chips ‘n curry sauce before ?

Not a great fan of them generally but The Two Ronnies classic “fork ‘andles” sketch always gets me going. Likewise with Morecombe and Wise doing “The Stripper”.

There’s no official viewing area, from inside the terminal you can look out onto domestic departures or from Garfunkels cafe/bar upstairs. For everything else you need to go walkabout.

There’s some good spots just either side of the termnal and International departures that let you view the aprons from behind a fence. On the West side is International and on the East is lo-co domestic and business/freight. You can walk to either side in minutes from the terminal.

Depends on who your flying with, but if it’s BA, Flybe or BMI then you’ll also get good views post security from the long domestic pier. Views from the lo-co pier (Easyjet , Bmi Baby, Aer Lingus) aren’t too bad but not as good owing to the large amount of frosted glass in the windows.

Most of the places I take my pictures from are outwith the airport and at least 20 mins walk or a taxi ride.

Sounds like she was wearing a heated biker jacket, useful on a bike at speed but not much cop in a plane at speed.

Yes he landed at Prestwick for 20 mins on the way home from Germany on Army duty and that is officially his only time on UK soil.

There’s a bar named after him in the terminal, something of a shrine for Elvis fans I gather ?
