Yes he landed at Prestwick for 20 mins on the way home from Germany on Army duty and that is officially his only time on UK soil.

There’s a bar named after him in the terminal, something of a shrine for Elvis fans I gather ?

Because good comedy never ages, just like music. My favourites are Way Out West and Laughing Gravy.

Well the most powerful “feel” on take off I experienced was in an Embraer 135. I suppose that’s because it’s more or less a biz jet and the feeling of movement and thrust seems greater ?

I gather the a/c was approaching RWY 26L.

Might I suggest that the picture was taken some time after the actual crash landing ? Where have all the passengers gone or are they still aboard?

And as for the 2nd assailant, the police “seek him here, they seek him there”. The search has so far taken all day and all of the night.

Ray’s female companion was heard to say “Thank you for the graze”.

Both the plus and minus formats offer digital recording from camcorders via the firewire port, but not all models have one. Philips generally offer the same model at the same time twice, one with a firewire port and one without as is their current DVDR-70 and 80 range.

I’ve had a Philips for a couple of years now and find the plus format to be a little more compatible with third party DVD players than the minus version. DVD-RAM discs come enveloped in a plastic caddy the same as audio mini discs, so are therefore unuseable in a regular DVD player, should you wish to give a disc to a friend for example. The write once DVD-R discs however can be played in most DVD players.

You can get a Sony deck that will record DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW, this seems to have been well received and a good performer from what I can gather.

This is the site I visit, the forum is pretty good http://www.dvdplusrw.org

Er… can’t you just connect the camera to the telly and play the pictures that way ?
