There was one in the Glasgow area on Boxing day in the early 80’s (1981 ?) that shook a few chimney pots and roof slates loose. I was in bed and woke up to see the debris lying about the streets. Very very small scale by comparison to what happened in Iran and elsewhere, but I can’t help thinking that if the houses in Iran had been built like Glasgow tenements it might have been a happier time out there right now.
