More than a hundred “big ones” were nicked from Craigmillar Hill, a nearby hillside location to be used as part of the Edinburgh Hogmanay display. There may be a display of sorts yet in Edinburgh’s Craigmillar housing scheme.:D

Sounds similar to the rise and rise of the “handycam” in my work.

I experienced the worst Hogmanay for years in Edinburgh. 50mph winds and torrential rain whilst standing atop a 20 foot platform in the open. No concert, no fireworks, still had to stay til 1am taking shots of empty streets for the news boys.:mad:
