It’s extremely difficult trying to get a legitimate TV camera into an airport these days, let alone a home video one.
All I can say is that sometimes it just doesn’t work for a short while.

Unfortunately you won’t find many local transport operators doing Ryanair any favours and Prestwick isn’t Glasgow’s local airport, which is why there’s not much direct surface transport available at that time of the morning. 🙁 If you decide to stay in Ayr you’ll get a taxi cheaply as it’s only a few miles away literally.
Welcome back. 😀
Great shots, A330’s really look great from every angle. Tell me Bhoy, will you be back down the pub this Saturday to watch my efforts on the telly ?
Citylink and Stagecoach are the bus companies serving Prestwick on the Glasgow – Ayr route. I’d have thought you could take a train earlier than that unless it’s a Sunday departure mind you.
You could stay the night in Prestwick or nearby Ayr, it’s off season and cheap just now. A Taxi to Prestwick will cost you around £30-£40 I’d have said.
http://www.spt.co.uk will have all the details for surface links. Or try calling Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow.
That’s a really smart looking new livery. Apologies if this has been covered before, but can anyone tell me why new planes coming out of Airbus’s plants have to carry “local” registrations and for how long before they hand them to the purchaser ?
Why don’t they just put the real reg on straight away ? Do they use the same reg’s on a lot of planes or is every new one given it’s own temporary reg ?
Cheers 😀
Yes, very sad. Not always the most fashionable of pop icons but, very personable and a genuine singer as far as I could tell.

I thought it looked very intersting engineless at LHR last week but agreeably better with it’s flight gear attached.

The first appearance of the Easy A319 in model form is due shortly too. Dragon Wings are releasing a 1/400 version. 🙂
And I believe American has a sizeable amount stored in the desert right now too !

It could be worse… you could be going on past Dens to PItsSoColdrie… along the only stretch of road in britain with more speed cameras than cars
I’ll be heading that way soon enough !:(
