I’m just in from shooting the Dundee V Perugia Uefa cup match, if they set up a Glasgow/Dundee air link I’d be very happy. The A9 is doing my head in right now !

Er… I once nicked an entire parking meter when I was 14, with a a mate in Glasgow city centre. We wrapped it up in brown parcel paper and put stickers on it saying “handle with care” and “fragile”

Once we got it home and hacked it open it contained around £90 in 20p pieces. I bought new tyres for my bike and the man at Halfords jokingly asked my if I’d “nicked a parking meter ?”

The first model to be released in the new Gemini 1/250th scale range will be this DC-8. It will have retractable undercarriage and rubber tyres apparently… ?

I think they are opening up some EDI routes as well, they will base two 737’s there according to the Evening Times.

Gemini Jets are moving into the larger scale airliner model market, I’m sure they have alliances with Corgi ? It’s becoming a bit like airline alliances in the airliner model business.

Gemini for civil and Corgi for military looks like the way of things.

I’m 33 in December and utterly mince at Physics. Oh well… Flight Sim 2004 it is then. I’ll happily come along and take photos of your “passing out” parade or whatever they call it when you get your driving licence ? 😀

    Shorty01,

I’m well aware of the novel preservation work done at Sinsheim. My comment above was levelled at those who took the (hasty) decision to retire Concorde prematurely.

My “theme park” allegation is just my own personal, somewhat vitriol laden euphemism for the museums accepting Concorde at the moment and in the near future. 😀

The astonishing rate at which Air France retired and disposed of it’s planes reminds me of a murderer trying to quickly dispose of the evidence. You’d think they were trying to get them out of service before a decent campaign to keep them flying gathered momentum.

I’ll calm down in a few months no doubt. 🙂

I must try and find a way of posting the video clip. It looks absolutely mental.
