Yeah I’m gonna try that so that I don’t have to frame my hand out of shot. As I say these are just crude experiments, I’m going to try and make some really good fakes if I can.
Here’s the last of the experiments for now, night time at “Ren” Airport (lol) 😀
The DC-10 looks good whatever you try …
Need to try more ‘faking’ techniques.
I was trying stuff with these today against a blue bedroom wall and a blurry slow shutter effect. Must try doing some outdoors in front of real planes at the airport next time I’m down.
This one… In relation to a thread about planes flying low over someones house, can’t remember the thread title now ?
I don’t know how I got away with it. it’s so crap looking !:D

I missed it. 😡 🙁 Does anyone if there will be a repeat of it anytime soon?
It’s a series ( I think ?) part 2 next week, I’ll make you a copy of this week’s if you wish.

Ren, being a camera man, are you sure you haven’t been in the special effects dept at the BBC with your Gemini Model??? :p:D:pNice pic, very dramatic. 🙂
Nope but I’m trying to take some pics of the models that make them look like real planes. I posted one a few weeks ago of my A330 and so far knowone has sussed it’s a fake.
A very interesting documentary and well shot too. It seemed to concentrate on the problems caused by non or poor use of English as the main international language of pilots and ATC workers.
The confusion caused at CDG by the ATC and Air France’s pilots refusal to speak anything other than French to each other was a case in point. I also found the dramatic reconstruction of the 1986 Saudi collision over India extremely graphic and thought provoking, another case of an accident caused by poor understanding of English by the crew of one of the aircraft.
They seemed to make good use of FS2002 graphics for the ‘out the window’ shots during the story of the UK propliner that had to take evasive action on the east coast to avoid an RAF fighter approaching at speed.
The human interest and “science bit” mix was just about right as well. Overall an interesting programme with some great aircraft shots and photography. Wish they’d asked me to film it ! 🙂
I can confirm that I’ll be stuck in a TV studio with David Sneddon, Busted, Gareth Gates and Mark Owen ! 🙁
Talk about unlucky ?
Nice pics again Kevin, you obviously had some of that sunshine Luke was on about in another thread.
It looks like they’ve used a big lasoo type arrangement to hold the nose down.

Looking very nice! That last photo looks as if the aircraft isn’t actually moving and as if it has just been loaded incorrectly, resulting in the aircraft tipping up!
lol 😀
Their 753’s look damn good as well ! 😀
I like this shot…
I’ll set my recorder again, I thought it was on BBC-1 for some reason. Thanks for the tip off.
