Ah yes… the Irn Bru Eye In The Sky, a Bell Jet Ranger flown by the charismatic “Captain George (RIP).

Clyde Helicopters no longer provide the service for Radio Clyde. It’s now a fixed wing service operated by I don’t know who ?

There was a time when a local and well known Glasgow car dealers wanted to be the eye in the sky main sponsor. The dealer was the Ian Skelley Group. Unfortunately the service would have been know as the “Skelley Eye In the Sky”. Even Tiger Tim would have had a hard time introducing that one !:D

I was lying in the park across the road from my flat one day in the sun when this beauty came overhead at altitude. Lucky I had a 200mm lens with me and it could be heard from miles away !

Here’s a “GO” (Titan) Bae 146-200 prior to my boarding at Belfast to Glasgow. Despite most folk’s opinions. I enjoyed flying on it.

I also think Iberia could do with a colour scheme update, this one has been around as long as I can remember. Great looking plane all the same.

I’ll be flying into Gatwick on Sunday the 18th and overnighting at an airport hotel. On the 19th I’m off to Malaga, then driving to Seville and Cadiz.

Hope to get a nice bunch of pictures from that lot to post on here.

I met them yesterday in a TV studio in Glasgow. Tis fair to say, if I’d met them on a plane I’d have been looking for a parachute or earplugs at least !

Well done on the pic Softlad. I was quite delighted when I got mine going ok. Had to change to Windows XP though as My Win 98 software didin’t seem to like the idea. Although that was probably more my fault really.
