Todays swear box contender was the following….

Asked by a group of local children who live in the area, could they please have a look in my cockpit section of the Twin Pin in the garden.
“No problem” I replied,we know them all quite well, and they are all well behaved between 6 and 9yrs old.
After lifting the first couple in and out so they could all take turns sitting in the seats etc,i went to the kitchen for a soft drink.
On returning i find the 9yr old jumping up and down on the throttle levers with all his wieght and complaining….
    “These dont move !”

Well you can imagine the rest :mad::mad::mad::mad:

For myself it was my grandads collection of “Aeroplane” magazines in binders, fascinated by the cutaway drawings etc.And then by the books “The ghost of flight 401”.And “The airmen that would not die” (About the R101)…still sat on my bookshelf here :).

    Huh???

I was quoted £30 for a quick “hedge hop” basically lifting my cockpit project 9ft over my garden fence and onto hardstanding. To me it was a straightforward job,to the guy who was bieng payed by the hour it was an “enormous task”.His words 😮

    And went from £30 to £100 !!!!!

Will you be posting photo’s of it ?

    .

Once this bloody great English weather stops persisting it down :diablo:

Hoping to get it lifted from its trailer in the next couple of days so i can get some half decent pictures.

Cheers fly buy, i have downloaded most pit photos off the net including the above.BUT 😮 they all seem to show the main instrument panel, which i am familiar with. Its the upper panels above the seats that i am struggling with,as throttle box, yokes, main instrument panels are 98% complete and just need some TLC.But the upper panels have some “worrying” gaps ;).
    Thanks for the help though.

    Paul
