Firstly Sir a big personal thank you for having the foresight to save something like this 15yrs ago ! 🙂
I had thought about contacting a couple of museums and Air Atlantique with regarding to taking a mold of possible dimensions to build the cowl. But just wondered as its scary sometimes what people stockpile, probably as you well know 😉
Will glady keep everyone updated of the progress on G-AYFA.
Thanks for all the help and support,
Paul
Thats the beast i had seen this on the net,but was hoping someone within the Uk possibly did / had a copy. But thanks a lot for that “every little helps ;)”.
Cheers Paul
Just in case !!!!!! Upper nose cowl
:oI know this is a long shot but before i commit to trying to have one manufactured does anyone have, or know the wherabouts of a upper nose cowl for a twinpin, that is up for grabs. Its the cover for the rear of the instrument panel/battery compartment, the very “nose” of the Pin.This is for G-AYFA.I know its a long shot but any pointers would be much appreciated.;).
Paul
Thanks for all the support, and i think you will all agree this is a very worthy project !. I will keep everyone informed of the progress on G-AYFA,and hopefully will bring her to cockpit fest in Newark next year !. (Wife and new baby permitting 😉 ).
Paul
G-AYFA No longer Missing !
Latest W&R has it at Mold, last noted 03-06
Just a quick heads up regarding Twin Pioneer G-AYFA.I have obtained this cockpit section (01/07/09) and she will be under restoration for the next couple of years. She is now in Lancashire.
Best Wishes Paul 🙂
