    I understand that the original owner in Australia when it was VH-OIL had flown PPROS for the RAF in Oman and wanted to restore the airplane like the one he flew.
    This airplane was operated by a company in New Zealand that did airshows. It was often “dressed up” to be either a German Stuka or a Japanese aircraft for battle recreations.

    This is an amazing airplane and really doesn’t get the respect in the war bird community that it deserves. Parts are difficult to find but hopefully, some more can get restored to their original livery.

    Thanks for that info. I couldn’t find anyway it could be mounted in the windscreen arch on the Provost. I couldn’t see anything behind me anyway when I held it up there. The roll cage and radio panel block vision too much.
