seems strange that somebody could book an aircraft for an airshow, without it actually being in the uk?

so potentially 5 airworthy b25s in europe:

    b25 silver lady
    b25 sarinah (duke of brabant)
b25 russels raiders (jet alpine fighters)
    b25 (red bull)
    b25 grumpy (fhc/vulcan warbirds)

last i heard, grumpy was at north weald still sitting in a hangar. its been over 3 years since it was sold, and easily 2 1/2 since it flew. i beleive FHC / Vulcan warbirds had sought another example. who knows? nice to see a b25 in those colours.

Is there a colour picture of a hurri in d-day stripes? I know corgi made a model of one but it would nice to see a hurri with the black and white stripes.

    Flying Legends 2007 Feedback (merged)

Just really wanted to say a big thank you to Stephen Grey and all of TFC for putting on 2 more absolutely stunning shows over the weekend. As always the line up was impressive and the flying even more so. The highlights for me were the Heritage flight (although why that woman had to keep going on and on and on), The mustang and Spitfire duo and the hind and nimrod. i have to say our french friend bernard chaubert was hilarious as per usual. His comment about ‘women have come far’ went down a storm!

However, although legends is undoubtedly the greatest airshow of its kind in the world, what improvements would people make to it? This is by no means a critism, as introducing the heritage flight this year has proved that it gives the show a slightly different twist.

Roll on next year with bolero III, 2 sea furies, the fw190, 2 gladiators and even the cwh lancaster if all is too beleived.:D

any news on whether pink lady is attending this year. it would be surprising if it doesn’t. Also shame the shuttleworth hurri isn’t attending so there will not be a fleet air arm flypast. Good looking show as per usual.

Also, is the SHF A26 not going to appear again?

the plane sailing cat is scheduled to appear according to their website. it would probably have to make a water landing at this rate. Fecking weather!
