    Anyway Spitfire seen over Rainham essex heading to city airport. Any idea who it was? my suspicion is the kent spit Ix.

    i beleive that spitfire ltd have bought a d model version from flugwerk as well. Hopefully by registering the first example it will make it slightly easier(he says knowing the miles of paperwork ahead for some poor git to fill in!)

    No i don’t quite mean it like that! I’m just saying that i’m shocked and surprised that duxford has 4 air shows per year and that this amazing aircraft is not booked for any of them, which to me is surprising.:rolleyes:

    Still only managed to see this plane once in flesh, but with all going well that will be 2 come shoreham in september!

    be nice to see the cav mustang in the lineup at legends with 6 or 7 mustangs to see the difference.

    how is the sherringham aviation spitfire mk I progressing? i had a look on bianchi aviation and they say its pencilled in for legends 2007, but has it flown yet?

    it also says that they are bringing there dc 3.

    shame but we will have to wait! makes sense as glacier girl is coming over, it will get much more exposure next year, especially if there is a documentary with it.

    its certainly gonna look nice. its a different style of scheme for a mustang on these shores and will make a fine addition to the fleet.

    Whats the score with the gladiator? they seem to be making nice progress with the wings.

    Anyone got any pics of Miss Velma the new TFC machine?

    The new P40 should be arriving soon as well i would imagine.
