That bbq sauce it was in, just amazing! i was lucky to go every year from 1987 to 1992 as my dad worked for shell coryton and they always provided a coach. my main memories were having a look in a cockpit of a F15 with the pilot and posing for a pic when i was 10, and my mum having a go at my dad for getting pissed!!!

sadsack, i too have heard similar comments regarding spits such as the dutch example. personally, i couldn’t give a monkeys if had red bull plastered all over it, as far as i’m concerned its another spitfire in the uk air for all of us to enjoy! mind you that previous scheme does look sexy! not too sure on the yellow one mind…….

spoke to the guys restoring red 7 in germany and was told its estimated it will fly again in autumn this year. they were reconnecting the wings today and when asked whether they will be bring her to the uk, they said it wouldn’t be a problem.

beaufighter in the battle of britain? not sure about that one…….
