In a more serious note, after the Korean War I thought North Korea was supposed to be the industrialise one with all their economic potentials, thanks to the vast amount of natural resources, but over time they blow it all on military? What a shame!!

After writing the previous posts, I’ve read a little bit about little Kim and I’ve got to say that he is spoiled, he even gone as far as kidnapping a South Korean film director when he was young! I think the idea of this guy having a 1-million men army is to protect his personnel kingdom rather then the whole of North Korea itself.

Kim Il Sung could’ve spank his son more often when he was alive!

In 2001 there was a foot and mouth disease outbreak here in the EU. The meat of the affected animals is (probably) not dangerous to humans, but you can’t sell it to EU consumers.
In April 2001, I spoke with a Japanese gentleman. He said he’d heard the news that the EU was sending shipments of that meat to North Korea. He seemed a bit bothered by that. I thought that was because we europeans were sending meat we wouldn’t eat to Asia and I muttered: “not a nice gift, indeed”.
He continued: “Now, North Korea can feed it’s army!”.

hmmmm….for some reason I have a really weird obsession with Indian products… anyway, it is pretty unlikely but I think the potential customer could be Laos. This country has a small defence budget and something like Dhruv could boast their fighting strength, for $5-6 million each they can probably afford about 5-10 aircraft and use them against drug traffickers and such.

Yes…and I think its pretty stupid to buy so many aircraft if your air force don’t have enough piots to fly them, if Libya wants to modernise its fighter force then maybe they should thinking of replacing rather then adding.
